Badminton
We have 4 professional badminton courts at Kidsgrove Sports Centre. They comply with the standards set by Badminton England.
We are one of the only facilities in Stoke-on-Trent to have badminton courts with specialist lighting. The lights are positioned to ensure they are not directly above your badminton court.
Badminton courts can be booked by members as part of your membership. Prices for non-members are shown on the price list below.
Basketball
Kidsgrove Sports Centre is one of the only locations in the area that is home to a professional, full-size basketball court. Our specialist cushioned sports hall floor and pressure release basketball hoops add the professional touch to your game.
Our basketball courts are typically hired by clubs but can be hired by anyone interested in a slam dunk!
If you fancy hiring our basketball court, please call the team by clicking the button below.
Cricket lanes and nets
Kidsgrove is one of only a handful of venues in the Potteries to provide indoor cricket nets and cricket training facilities.
Our specialist LED lighting is compliant with cricket standards to give you every chance of connecting with a fast bowl.
The Sports Hall has proven popular with a number of cricket clubs across the area. If you’d like to add your cricket club to that list and make use of our facilities, just click the button below.
Futsal
Originating in South America in the 1930’s, futsal is an exciting, fast-paced game similar to 5-a-side football.
Because of its fast pace, it involves plenty of technical skill and ability. But if you can master futsal, it will undoubtedly help in an 11-a-side game. Indeed some of the world’s best footballers have played futsal at some stage – including Pele and Messi.
Our futsal pitch can be hired by teams or private organisations.

Pickleball
We are delighted to be able to offer Pickleball at Kidsgrove Sports Centre.
This new and exciting game is the fastest growing sport in the USA and is also proving hugely popular in the UK.
It’s very similar to tennis but is played with paddles on a badminton court (with the net lowered).
It’s heaps of fun and very sociable.
Join us on Wednesday evenings and learn from the fantastic team at Pickleball People.
Table Tennis
Table tennis is a massive hit at Kidsgrove Sports Centre.
As such, we have a number of table tennis tables for you to enjoy this skilful, fast-paced sport.
Tables can be booked by members as part of your membership.
Prices for non-members are shown in the price list above.
