Price increases from 1st August 2026
At Kidsgrove Sports Centre, we’re committed to providing affordable access to high-quality fitness, swimming and wellbeing facilities for our community.
Over the last few years, we’ve worked hard to keep our prices as low as possible despite significant increases in operating costs. However, like many organisations across the UK, we continue to face rising utility costs, increased maintenance expenses and higher staffing costs following recent increases to the National Minimum Wage.
To ensure we can continue delivering the high standards our members expect, we will be making a small adjustment to our membership, swimming lesson and PT session prices from 1st August 2026.
Why are prices increasing?
As a registered charity, we operate in a different way to many commercial leisure providers.
Every pound generated through memberships, swimming lessons and activities is reinvested directly back into the facility. This allows us to:
- Maintain the building
- Invest in equipment
- Support our programmes
- Continue providing opportunities that benefit the whole community.
While we have absorbed rising costs for as long as possible, this adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Centre and the services we provide.
What does this mean for members?
For most members, the increase equates to approximately 75p per week.
We understand that any price increase can be disappointing, and we want to reiterate that this decision has not been taken lightly.
However, these changes will help us continue to provide a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment for everyone who uses the Sports Centre.
